I really don't see them adding the dual core chip to the iPhone or the iPod Touch, maybe an increase in processor speed but I think the more powerful processor is going to be reserved for the iPad now.

As for those 'defending' the employees for not intervening, shame on you... The 2 girls clearly did not have any weapons, hence the brutality of their attack using their fists and feet, a whole 3 or minutes go past, if they had a weapon they would have used it by then instead of taking such horrific actions like stamping on the victim's head!!! There were at least 4 full grown MEN capable of stopping that and it takes a female OAP to at least try... Cowards.

They are just giving Microsoft fewer features to throw into that Zune player - whether Apples uses them or not is another issue.

Anyhow, I find myself using Pages more often. I'll just tell my boss to buy a Mac Mini if he wants to read my documents. :D

If Apple does come out with a spreadsheet, it better be more usable than what one can get currently on Pages. One major omission is that one cannot create a graph directly from a table (you have to 'cut and paste').

I'm a BMW fan and have thought about restoring an E30 or picking up an E36 M3. I personally would never buy a Countryman but the Cooper S and JCW appeals to me. I understand that this car may not appeal to some people but I personally dig it. It's very peppy and has soul. It does something for me and it's what matters. I've looked at a new BMW 335i...RWD...twin turbo. On paper it has everything a car guy would like but meh...too generic for me.

I actually love those E30s, that is why I wouldn't have an issue driving any example. At least I'd be driving a decent car or something that was when new.

I had all sorts of cars over the years, almost exclusively German premium ones but my biggest regret is not to get a 318is when I had the chance. I went for a practical E46 Touring (third in a row) and later I bought a 1983 SL280. That was a more special car but I still have a lot of admiration for those small BMW sport coupes. That is why actually, that I have high hopes about the 1 series coupes. The history is there, you can see the DNA, that's what BMW is very good at.

Iv'e had both good and bad luck with Hitachi, Seagate and WD. Currently installing the Seagate Momentus XT 500GB drive :D So far it's silent! All my Hitachi's have been clicking. Although last year I purchased a Seagate drive and it clicked very badly so..

Gross margin was 29.2 percent, up from 28.1 percent in the year-ago quarter. International sales accounted for 40 percent of the quarter’s revenue.

1,610,000 Macs and 8,729,000 iPods were shipped this quarter representing a 30 percent growth in Macs and 35 percent growth in iPods over the year-ago quarter.

Point proven by Nintendo's silly move to tell everyone about Project Cafe. Wiis weren't selling before and now they'll sell even less.

Or just do away with iTunes entirely and choose which available (i.e. purchased) apps you want to install directly in App Store on the device. Let any backups be cloud or Time Machine based.
The genius part of iTunes sync is that it does a lot in one go:
- Backup
- Check for OS updates and install them if available
- Carrier updates
- Sync apps
- Sync media
- Sync other infos
(Also: Activation)

I don't see the iTunes sync going away soon unless Apple can provide *all* and not just part of that (well maybe except media sync) as cloud solution, and for every user (=not a paid service).

I'm not a fan of this "literal graphics" fad at Apple... It's not a real calendar, it's not a real address book, and virtual ones can be better, have more functions and uses, be a completely different tool from the real ones... So why should they look the same?? Specially when people are already educated to use the software as it was...

Enjoy the version of Android that comes on that thing out of the box. With all the HTC bloatware and Android fragmentation you'll be lucky to ever see a software update. :rolleyes:

HTC phones get updates & always have done. What is this HTC bloatware you are talking about? If you mean HTC Sense I'll laugh at you a lot. It's a brilliant add-on to Android. In fact, I couldn't imagine Android without it.
